We are looking for a passionate Mechanical Engineer to join our Engineering Team. The Mechanical Product Engineer ensures the efficient and timely production of goods and services to our customers. The role will report to Chief Engineer
As part of a passionate team of engineers, you will be responsible for designing a variety of molded, machined, printed, stamped, forged, and cast components and assemblies. You will play a key role in both R&D and product development for next generation products

You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced and often uncertain environment while contributing to innovative solutions, demonstrating personal leadership, technical competence, and attention to detail.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
- Review of product designs for effective and efficient manufacturability
- Train and work with product designers regarding effective forming designs from a manufacturing perspective
- Authority to request and direct design changes
- Work with manufacturing to create right-sized tools, jigs, fixtures, and machines to support the high-quality production of products.
- Creating manufacturing requests with approved sketch or drawings
- Do revision control and process changes
- Review time variance with supervisor·
- Ensure quality and timely delivery
- Identify, qualify and manage key suppliers for mechanical components.
- Update and modify parts, qualify vendors, and reduce costs for existing products after launch.
- Participate in root cause investigations, corrective actions, process improvements, product testing and qualification, and product improvement initiatives.
- Develop new and improve existing processes and procedures for new product introduction (NPI).
- Redesign existing products to reduce cost and address shortcomings of existing designs.
Experience and Education Required
- The Candidate should have a Bachelor's or Masters. with 1 to 25 years of industry experience, having a primary background in mechanical engineering, with extensive experience in the design of components and assemblies.
- Experience is required with the fabrication and sourcing of custom parts for small, mid, and high volume made by machining, injection molding, and 3D printing.
- Additional experience in cold forming, forging, casting, laser and waterjet cutting, deep drawing, wire forming, spring winding, stamping, as well as finishing including cleaning, plating, anodizing, and painting of mechanical parts is a plus,
- The Candidate should have proficiency in vendor identification, qualification, relationship management, quality management, price negotiation, domestic and overseas sourcing, and logistics.
- Skills required: SOLIDWORKS
- Skills desired: FEA, ANSYS, physics, chemistry, electronics
Language
- Fluency in English
- Fluency in Hindi is a bonus
Travel Required
- May be required to travel occasionally
- Must possess a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
